The Long Overdue Christmas Letter!

Well, I had every intention on getting a Christmas letter out this year.  I even wrote the letter and took the picture that I was going to send with it!  Then I realized that not only was I out of color in for my printer, I was out of black ink as well!  To top it all off, I couldn't remember my password so that I could upload the pictures and have them printed out locally for me!  Grrrrr!  As you can tell, by the time I got around to getting the ink (I never did figure out my password), Christmas was over and I felt it was too late to send out the letters!  So, I have decided to post the "Christmas Letter" and the accompaning picture on my blog!  You may all look forward to recieving an actual Christmas card, letter (on Christmas paper), and photo next year!  I hope you enjoy reading what our family has been up to over the last year!  (Especially since I am so good and blogging regularly, NOT!!! :)

December 2009

Dear Family and Friends,

Merry Christmas from the Snow family! We hope that this season finds you happy and well! The last year has been a wonderful year for our family, bringing many changes with it!

The first of the major changes was our daughter, Alyssa Lynn, was born a year ago September! We now have four adorable kids! Stephen is now 8, Jenny is 5, Zack is 4, and Alyssa is 14 months. The other major change for us this year is that we moved! We found a wonderful duplex in our neighborhood and moved in at the beginning of September.

Ryan is now working for Home Depot in Provo. He loves his job, and the chance to spend more time with the family! We feel very fortunate that he was able to get on with them when he did, and then to get full time status when the company was doing away with an entire department! What a blessing! Amy is keeping busy with the kids (school, homework, activities, etc.).

Stephen is now in second grade and doing wonderfully! He tested in the 95 percentile in Math, Reading, and Language Arts. We are so proud of him and all of the hard work that he puts in! He also turned 8 in October and was baptized on Halloween! We were so blessed to have so many of our family members and friends attend.

Jenny started Kindergarten in August! She is so excited to have started school. She has the same teacher that Stephen did for kindergarten, and just seems to just love her! The other major event for Jenny that happened this year is that she lost her first tooth! (It hardly seems like she is old enough to be losing teeth!)

Zack is trying to adjust to being the oldest at home for a good part of the day. He is just as active as ever! (I wish I had half the energy that he does!) It is so fun to watch Zack as he tries to do Jenny’s homework with her! What a cute and inquisitive kid!

Alyssa has grown so much over the last year! She is now walking and getting into everything! She loves to play with her siblings! Her favorite game, that can keep her entertained for hours, is Peak-a-Boo! It is so much fun to watch her learn and grow!

Well, there have been many more changes that have occurred over the last year, but I think we have covered the most important of them. This Christmas season our family just wants to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! We hope that this letter finds you and yours happy and healthy! We love you all and hope you have a Happy New Year!

Love,

The Snow Family
